I don’t want to move on! Did you ever experience this feeling?

This happens many times in life we don’t want to move on.

We want to be there; we want to live those moments again and again. We want to feel them to the core. This time is very precious for people- Cherishable moments; that is rare and that’s how people want to live them again and again.

Remember and share the precious moments that you want to live again.

It is very normal with emotions. Experiences build strong emotional connect. Experiences generate strong feelings. Feelings stop you, feelings make you keep going on, and ask you to be in the moment.

When do emotions stop? It stops people to move-ahead whenever they experience:

  • Good moments/ Achievements;
  • Disheartening ;
  • Uncertainty.

When we experience impulse of emotions we want to be there we don’t want to move-head.

Whenever we experience good moments: we enjoy them. We want to be there in those moments for a long time. It takes us back in those, pluse of moments again and again. Moments that are very important, to us and created strong feelings, we want to be there. The reason is, we want to experience them again and again, it gives us satisfaction and happiness. These are strongly seen in relationships.

How to deal? Here is the answer:

  • When you are in such a situation, try to enjoy the pulse of life, give time to yourself,
  • Don’t push yourself to move ahead. People rarely enjoy good moments; be there and live them;
  • These moments play the role of motivator, you will find yourself moving ahead soon;
  • Experiencing cherishable moments keep you positive and helps you to perform better in life. Don’t try forcefully to come out of them.
  • Keep reminding yourself about the current tasks and perform them.

Disheartening: Disheartening moments break people. People stuck in those moments and wants to be there, reasons are:

How to deal? Here is the answer:

Do’s and don’ts:

  • Take a deep breath many times during the day;
  • Give yourself time, be there till you want to be;
  • Try to understand, absorb and accept the facts;
  • Don’t accept any miracle so don’t torture yourself;
  • Don’t push yourself too much. The more you push your self the more it drags you back and your energies will fall.
  • Figure out strategies and design steps for your self. This will help you to move ahead concretely. If you find it difficult to find strategies and action plans, for yourself better to take professional help to come out of it. It will help you grow fast and you will always feel strong support with you. This will give a speedy recovery which works as a powerful motivator for you.

Uncertainty: Uncertainty about anything makes people stuck there for long hours. In this process they just want to explore ‘what is coming next?”, they try to resolve the puzzle that makes them stuck there. This is the worst situation. People at times stuck here for hours and months. I have seen a couple of stuck for years too. The saddest part is they don’t take help. And this directly impacts productivity, focus and mental peace.

In this situation, professional help does wonders and collecting data to resolve the problem is always good. Saves time, energy, lethargy, stress and gives an amount of positivity.
