5 steps to get Clarity & Decision making

  • by

Decision Making is the very first step before initiating anything.

Decision making is the first action step that we take to proceed in any direction. And I have seen people struggle to make a decision and spend lots of days and years in that. Taking Decisions is also the most critical factor in having stress and anxiety.

Want to start a business or any new start, they don’t reach on any conclusion and can’t make any decision in that direction, and have seen after 2…5…10 years whenever you meet them they will say… we also wanted to do that.

The reason for not able to make any decision is various. But these are the primary reasons which

I (Anjali ) found in my subject field and while meeting many people.

  • Lack of awareness
  • Confidence
  • Accountability
  • No idea what they want to do
  • Confusion to Clarity
  • Dependant on others for their decisions
  • Self-importance
  • The main object missing
  • Social pressure
  • Involvement of others

So basically, decision making is not an easy step to take. And surprisingly, people struggle with this many times during the day. And then continuously reconfirm our decisions to friends or family members or seniors, but here one crucial thing is missing, which I will share * later. And pear pressure or with friends we make lots of decisions. The decision took with friends are usually leave pleasant experiences though here also mixed reviews have seen. And the ratio is 50%, Rest decisions between friends and relatives are the result of Assertiveness.

Though very important for:

  • Growth
  • One of the essential leadership skill
  • To move ahead
  • Structure life
  • Balance finances
  • Money management
  • Habits alteration
  • Building Skills
  • Peace of mind
  • Much more

So, I (Anjali) strongly believe in decision making is the most reliable tool for prolonged matters that cause stress and anxiety. Once we make a decision, we reach the point of the conclusion that helps in deleting long-pending uncertainty. And uncertainty is the thing which gives lots of anxiety and stress.

Prepare yourself for making independent and biased free decisions. Taking a decision is not an easy step. That’s how people stuck here. Few skills, if we inculcate in our system, they will help in making decisions.

  1. Emotional Balance
  2. Presence of mind
  3. Accountability*
  4. GTD attitude.

Though over a period of time and after meeting lots of people, I (Anjali) realized all sectors have to use different tools for decision making. Personal, Organisational, Team, Family. Though I found a few ground rules are there, which applies everywhere.

I’m sharing ground rules which one can use effectively in any field for quick and impulsive free decision making.

  • Find options and pen down each option.
  • Delete & Distort, which are not practically possible and not giving the results you are looking for.
  • Pen down decision is focused on whom –
    • For your self
    • For team
    • For organization
  • Is your choice of the decision going to take where you want?
  • Decide that very moment

Take now If any pending decisions bother you on and off.

The above information is going to be very beneficial for you to take firm and confident decisions.

To absorb all skills and tools of decision making for various fields and soon going to launch a course on it.

Thanks for reading the article.
